As an assay, QuestAssureD™ is not subject to as rigorous a regulatory environment as a drug. However, because it was a proprietary Quest assay, internal medical, legal, and regulatory experts were consulted before release to the general public.
CampaignDescription
This engaging video describes the science behind vitamin D testing using simple, funny, straightforward CG animation. First, the younger, older, and active forms of vitamin D are introduced. Then, vitamin D2 and D3, which give the most accurate measure of vitamin D, take the spotlight.
Now that we’ve met vitamin D, we take a look at the tests. Immunoassays bound across the screen indiscriminately missing D2, but pick up other metabolites to deliver inaccurate results that may leave patients without the treatment they need.
