CampaignDescription

To: invests in awesome companies, to change the way to do business. They support sustainable initiatives and promote good. Because To: only exists through the companies they invest in, so does its brand. Every single touchpoint is layered over existing digital and print material from companies they support. To: supports these companies and in return, they support To: too.

Execution

We collected unused material —past-season catalogs, leftover posters, business cards and canvas bags —and printed To:’s message over them, literally taking what they do and turning it into their brand expression. This upcycling simultaneously gives voice to To:’s ambition, and to all the brands they partner with to realize it.

Outcome

Since its creation, the support To: provided for its companies has transformed their reach and impact.

To: helped L. go beyond sustainable condoms to also offer feminine hygiene products, and shift their business model to donate one unit to developing countries for every one bought online.

To: helped Hemp Eco Systems launch a new green-housing production facility, allowing it to address demand across Europe.

To: helped Samasource quadruple the earnings of its employees, transforming the lives of their digital teams in Kenya, Uganda, India, and Haiti.

To: helped Bridge International Academies become the world’s largest education innovation company, now providing quality education to 700 million families in Africa, with plans to launch in Asia.

Most importantly, the brand helped To: go from supporting three partners to over fifteen, with no end in sight.

Strategy

In order to amplify To:’s innovative way of investing as well as their sustainable dimension, no resource could go untapped. In the To: system, virtually any discarded or leftover material from the companies they support can be reused.

Synopsis

Two brothers came to us with the ambition to create an inspiring investment fund that gives a new kind of support to companies and initiatives that operate for kindness, health, and responsibility. Where most financial funds appeal to traditional corporate or private wealth, they wanted to build one that attracted young entrepreneurs that shared their belief in doing good for the planet.
