Men who purchase sex with a minor do so because they believe they’re anonymous, but in reality they are not. The professional appearance of the men in the Unmasked campaign broke stereotypes of what a predator looks like to show these men that we see through their masks and know who they are.

Execution

The Unmasked campaign was teased on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter in posts featuring the #StopTrafficking hashtag with photography of men in masks. The next day, the Georgia State Attorney General held a press conference to announce the Unmasked campaign as it launched on TV in 47% of the country. Next, billboards and lenticular posters in Atlanta reached potential predators in one of the United States’ top five human trafficking hubs.

Outcome

we got roughly 25K video views on Facebook in week 1 with NO paid support.

Yesterday, April 26th, our spot launched on stations across 23 states and the District of Columbia

• The Press Conference to announce the campaign was live-streamed and currently has 850 views

• In just over 24 hours, we have over 8,000 views across the Street Grace social channels (with no paid or influencer support!)

Relevancy

To show potential predators that they cannot purchase sex with a minor anonymously, the Unmasked campaign utilized TV, print, outdoor and social media to reach potential predators in places where they felt safely anonymous and reveal the truth that they are not.

Strategy

To curb the demand for domestic minor sex trafficking in the U.S., the Unmasked campaign stopped potential predators by revealing the truth that they cannot purchase sex with a minor anonymously.

Synopsis

Street Grace is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending the domestic minor sex trafficking epidemic in the United States by curbing demand.
