The international correspondents of the newspaper wrote a story about each new member country which was then printed in the double issue over the turn of the year in the respective language – and embedded in the regular issue. At the bottom of each article readers got the information on how to download the German version to their mobile or PDA (Personal Digital Assistant).
Outcome
A1 MOBILE NEWSPAPER is one of the first mobile content applications worldwide. Although no other promotion activity was initiated than this cooperation, subscription increased by 44% during and right after the turn of the year.
