Description
With time running out on their contract with the Chinese national table tennis team, China Unicom asked TBWA\China to seize this opportunity. We had five days to create a concept for the ad, write a script and produce it. Only three members of the team were available. With no media plan in place, we recommended that they air this advertisement on the internet first, expecting people to believe that it was a real table tennis match. After the release on the internet, popularity of this spot grew within China Unicom. The company then decided to air this spot on TV.
