With a century of existence, Folha de S.Paulo is the largest newspaper in Brazil and one of the largest in Latin America, admittedly an icon of quality and independent journalism in Brazilian media activity. The periodical is constantly attacked by governments (current and former) for its independent stance.

A leadership that disseminates fake news and systematically attacks the press contributes to the lack of direction and distrust of traditional media vehicles. The world's democracies are in danger, and the greatest thermometer of a democracy is a free and serious press committed to the truth.

In this context, being able to create a project to show that the truth has never been so valuable, showing the importance of expanding the discussion on the value of professional journalism and the need to recognize the role of an independent media, is what makes this project so relevant.
