CampaignDescription
We developed a visual identity for Japan’s scope of SDG efforts, depicting the public and private sector as threads of warp and weft. The woven threads represent new possibilities through diversity, and embody SDGs’ principle; “Leaving No One Behind.” 5 posters based on the VI were displayed at the UN High Level Political Forum and at the UN Gala hosted by Japan, conveying Japan’s vision to other leaders of the world.
Execution
The “threads” were printed with a special ink that gave a 3D effect, as if it looked like it was actually woven.
Outcome
The posters were displayed at the high level political forum and at the UN gala hosted by japan, conveying Japan’s vision to other leaders of the world.
Synopsis
Japan has been implementing various measures to achieve the SDGs with its main focus in, “Public-Private Partnership.” July 2017, Japan entered the UN High Level Political Forum where participant countries present their interim reports of their activities for the SDGs. In order to present how Japan is driving its activities to achieve the Global Goals, Japan was in need of a visual identity of its concept followed by posters that would be displayed at the summit.
