Skins is a British drama about teenage life in the UK, which aims to portray a no-holds barred look at what it's like to be a young person in the UK today. The third series introduced a completely new cast, and was considerably darker, grittier and more violent than the previous two series. To launch the series with a bang and a bit of controversy, we decided to base the promo around the mother of all brawls. Shot over two days in a disused pub in South London, the promo features the teenage cast of the show entering a rough boozer, stirring up discontent amongst the locals and getting themselves fully involved in an orgy of sex, drugs and violence. We searched long and hard for the right track to score this film, but in the end 'Halfway Home' by TV On The Radio seemed to have just the right dynamics and atmosphere.
