To launch South Park’s “Pandemic Special” we brought South Park to life with a marketing stunt built for the socially-distanced world. With COVID-19 forcing sports teams to fill stadiums with lackluster cardboard cutouts, combined with the Denver Bronco's being South Park's home team, we knew filling the vacant seats at a game would create a ton of buzz on social media, in the press, and ultimately drive awareness for the special's premiere. During the Bronco’s home game, we filled their stadium with cutouts of the entire town of South Park with over 1,800 characters -- and all wearing facemasks to be safe! Beyond the organic correlation between South Park and the Denver Bronco's, this stunt was specifically tailored to fit their stadium with key characters strategically placed throughout the stadium to be captured in the televisions feed throughout the entire game.
