Create a low-budget sales promotion that guides new customers directly to Melange, a store for jewellery and fashion accessories. Reach young fashion-conscious Berliners of both sexes.
Outcome
With the stamp idea the promotion worked with data, that would make each media planner go crazy: for a small cost, we reached the targeted audience, with a contact length that classical advertisers dream of. There was no exact measurement of new customers coming to melange. But there were so much of them, that the timing of the promotions had to be reworked. As they run first time in 10 top Berlin clubs on the weekend, Monday after the little shop was simply overcrowded. Most of the new customers were guided by an address on their wrist.
Solution
The target group was young fashion-interested Berliners. So let´s meet them, where young Berliners show off their fashion-interest: in the clubs. Not with boring promotion teams but with the media that a club offers. That way the stamp that the clubs usually give on your wrist as an entrance ticket became a very special one: a bracelet with the adress of Melange, the Berlin store for fine accessoires and jewellery.
