After his success as the voice of Netflix hit show Never Have I Ever, John McEnroe decides to go from tennis legend to voice legend, and he has a Squarespace website to prove it – we follow the preparation, the trials and tribulations of his comedic attempt to become the voice of anything he can get his vocal chords on.

Shot in two days on a very limited budget and a total of 8 hours with John, preparation and speed were key to pull it off. Blending a fly on the wall approach with scripted situations and no time to rehearse, we had to get very creative in order to move fast with the smallest amount of takes as possible – all while creating a hyperbolic story that’s equal parts believable, authentic to who John is and also entertaining. All while promoting Squarespace and Netflix without feeling forced or heavy handed.
