Write a short summary of what happens in the film.

A family of four visits an elderly home to see Nick's grandmother. However, Sam, Nick's father, warns them that her condition has worsened. A heart-wrenching moment follows when it becomes apparent that she cannot recognize her grandchildren or even her own son. Nick and Sam, who clearly have a strained relationship (with Nick being an almost-adult-soon-to-move-out son and Sam being a somewhat controlling and unable-to-let-go father), become frustrated, and Nick storms out of the home. However, when he returns later that evening, he surprises everyone by packing the car to the brim. With the aid of his Nreal AR glasses, Nick successfully reconstructs the Christmas morning scene from fifteen years ago in their home. Finally, the rebuilt scene helps to trigger the grandmother's memory, and she remembers who her family members are. Sam finally understands why Nick had stormed out earlier, and everyone is deeply moved by the experience.

Background:

Nreal is a pair of innovative AR glasses that features a portable 220-inch IMAX screen, enabling consumers to enjoy a beautiful, huge display in Air Casting mode that amplifies the mobile or PC. Nreal launched in the US during the 2022 Christmas season with the challenging task of introducing this novel product to the public. It belongs to a new product category that most people are not yet familiar with. Hence, Nreal faces the challenge of creating brand awareness and increasing purchase desire, especially during Christmas occasions. To accomplish this, Nreal needs to find a sharp angle that resonates with the public, building a positive brand image that ultimately drives sales.

In 2022, after almost three years of restricted behavior caused by the COVID-19, people in the United States are eager to celebrate Christmas in a grand manner. Large gatherings are now back on the table, and many are looking forward to spending the holiday with their grandparents whom they have not seen for a long time. However, such warm gatherings face challenges due to memory loss, as more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's. it kills more people than breast and prostate cancer combined. COVID-19 has contributed to a 17% increase in deaths. In the battle against Alzheimer's, even glimpses of love and recognition are considered rare and valuable. Nreal has set out to create such moments by dedicating efforts and donations in the United States. They have enabled precious moments of clarity and closeness among families whose relationships and shared lucid moments been diminishing or disappearing entirely.
