Climate anxiety is a concept in growth that many young people suffer from today. However, there are still plenty of people who do not believe it or think of it as a relevant matter. This is why we decided to make these people face this feeling in a unique and groundbreaking way. BBK being the main foundation in the Basque Country, and taking advantage of the big river that crosses Bilbao’s city center, its capital, we found that place perfect to place an irreverent piece that would catch everyone's attention.

The piece represents a little girl called ‘Bihar’, which means ‘Tomorrow’ in Basque, the official language of the region.

We created something never done before: a giant living sculpture anchored to the bottom of the river, created and designed to interact with the movements of the tides. It reflected the head of a little girl, making it look as if she were drowning or staying afloat in the river. We had to analyze the behavior of the tides during the installation of the piece, and brought the piece by a ship to be installed in the middle of the river on top of a concrete foundation.

For the film to have believable scenarios we relied on foresight, a field that generates accurate knowledge about the future, collaborating with one of Spain’s most renowned futurist professionals, who after months of research and analysis helped us determine and establish a series of events that our main character Bihar will live in the future. It was specifically designed for this short-film.
