We cooperated with celebrities who often go live to stun their fan club and followers by Facebook live. In the beginning, we filmed clips as if celebrities were going live and broadcast those clips on each celebrity’s facebook live at once. At first, the audience would think that this is an ordinary facebook live and watch it joyfully. Suddenly, an accident happened and shocked all the people who were watching it. After that, a mobile-related accident statistic showed up in order to convince people that mobile is creative or destructive depending on how they use it.

Execution

We cooperated with celebrities who often go live to stun their fan club and followers by Facebook live. At first, the audience would think that this is an ordinary facebook live and watch it joyfully. Suddenly, an accident happened and shocked all the people who were watching it. After that, a mobile-related accident statistic showed up in order to convince people that mobile is creative or destructive depending on how they use it.

Outcome

This campaign had gone viral in social media and ranked as 11th world trending Twitter hashtag. Receiving over 2,600,000 views, 8,000 shares and earned 1.5 million baht free media. Above all, it is said to be one of the most effective mobile-misuse campaign in Thailand.

Relevancy

AIS, a mobile network, want to warn people about the danger of mobile usage on the road as people always go Live on Facebook when they are driving or crossing the road. We cooperated with celebrities to stun their fan club by Facebook live because the best warning is letting people witness a real time accident of the loved one by themselves. At first, we filmed clips as if celebrities were going live and broadcast those clips on each celebrity’s facebook live at once. They were like an ordinary Facebook live but, suddenly, an accident happened and shocked the audiences.

Strategy

Nowadays, Facebook live is really popular among people and celebrities. But, it leads to the most dangerous behaviour as plenty of people always go live even when they are driving or crossing the road. So, we came up with an idea to use Facebook Live as a tool to show such danger because the best warning is letting people witness a real time accident of the loved one by themselves.

Synopsis

AIS, no.1 mobile network in Thailand, would like to build brand love by warning people about the danger of mobile usage on the road.
