Our job was to tell Medtronic's brand story in a relevant and interesting way, while leveraging the unique interactive possibilities of the iPad. We created an immersive app that gave users full control of their interactive experience, making it perfectly suited for one-on-one sales presentations. The app consists of 14 stories, with each story highlighting a specific Medtronic product of innovation and featuring its own unique functionality. For instance, while illustrating Medtronic's commitment to fighting the global epidemic of chronic disease, users could literally explore what the company is doing all over the world. Also, while demonstrating product innovations that are less invasive to the human body, users could actually experience the difference. In every story across the app, users could interact with the content in ways that are unique to the utility of the iPad. To date, the app has exceeded download projections, and has proven to be a valuable tool for the company, effectively demonstrating and bringing the to life Medtronic's commitment to using innovation to improve lives.
