BriefExplanation

Göteborgstryckeriet, established in 1918, is at the cutting edge of printing houses in Sweden. In 2011 they invested in a new printing press for advanced foiling and embossing. Our task was to communicate this to art directors and designers.

ClientBriefOrObjective

The challenge was to create a desirable object, thus worth saving, for a very selective target group (art directors and designers) not using stereotypical imagery (peacocks and details on Ferraris).

Effectiveness

The trompe l’oeil publication caused a mail server crash at Göteborgstryckeriet, as hundreds of people ordered the book within less than an hour after the release.

Execution

We created a fictitious lost & found department at Göteborgstryckeriet. Using sophisticated printing techniques, tiny, ordinary objects became extraordinary.
