We wanted to show that teaching kids in Little Tibet is totally different than in the Czech Republic as they get really excited about education.

So we shot a „documentary video“ about Tibetan kids who found a Czech Physics textbook. Despite not understanding a word in the book they start with experiments. They then turn the whole village upside down, which drives their parents crazy.

The main role in the whole story is played by an iconic Czech Physics textbook, easily recognizable by any Czech student and teacher as well. It’s a cultural reference that makes the video even more relatable to a Czech viewer.

Little explosion behind the doors. The boy comes out of the door and start running from the older woman.

The man finds out that he is missing the wheel of the car. Women explain:

„But thanks to this „Physics“, things have strated to go missing.“

Meanwhile little boy reads in a physics book about wheels.

„It’s been making people late for work.“ The man's car doesn't have a wheel, he can't leave. So, he is trying to get on a yak instead of driving a car.

The woman is talking: „Apparently „Physics“ is a spirit that has possessed the children. Our neighbour even saw it.“

„Gigantic. With a long tail. it hopped around like a frog.“ Demonstrates a neighbor.

Woman is talking about children: „They don’t understand a word in the book….But it hasn’t stopped them from trying to use it.”

Children try different things that they have learned in the book.

The woman thinks that her son is already asleep, but he is just playing it. So she thinks everything is okay, goes to watch TV and then suddenly the power goes out.

„Dorjey!“ The woman shouts his name again.

Thanks to physics kids find out how to create energy using all kinds of features they’ve found in their village.

“Physics“. Says older man (the neighbor) and demonstrate a horns of a satan.

„They make me eggs every morning.“ says the older lady, meanwhile the children show how they can cook eggs thanks to physics book – using solar power. But they can also make something like a small rocket and they let it go along the way. Everyone who stands in the way dodges.

„Dorjey!“ Shouts women on her son again.

She catch him, lead him home and says: You’re grounded. You and your “space rocket.”

„Physics“. Says older man (the neighbor) and shows his drawing of some creature that should illustrate a satan or hell.

5 women sitting on the ground and begging. One woman says.: „Dear Czechs, please send us someone to entertain our kids at school. Someone who knows the secrets of your book.
