Smarttress is a revolutionary and innovative mattress with ultrasound motion sensors that recognizes movement patterns typical of sexual relationships differentiating them from other movement patterns.

Every Smarttress has a network of 24 ultrasonic sensors connected to a microcontroller that uses an algorithm defined to recognize the movements of a sexual act.

Once any movement on the mattress is detected, it is analysed to see if it matches the defined pattern. If this happens, it sends a notification to the mobile user via a wireless connection to alert that there is a suspicious activity on the mattress.

The mattress is connected to an app (iOS/ AndroidOS) that warns you if your partner is using your mattress suspiciously providing detailed statistics of the sexual encounter in real time.

We launched the product which is on sale by pre-order (1.550 Euros) through the website.

The mattress is fully functional and is being produced by pre-order through the website.

Durmet has a maximum production capacity of 70 mattresses per day.

This product continues the development route for the resting products which consist on integrating sensor technology into them, providing data for real-time analysis.

In our case, we don’t use this data for medical purposes but to reinforce the resting attributes of the mattress (confortable during the night and reassuring during the day).

The idea was created by the agency and the mattress was developed by the client with the support of a technological partner with no additional investment received.

The great impact of this invention (earned media over 12 million euros) confirms the great interest of this disruptive innovation.

As a result of this launch, Durmet’s sales (of all resting products) grew by 402% in just one week.

The exponential increase in technology and popularity of IoT applications give insight into how products are performing.

What makes so many of these applications so innovative is within the sensor technology, which provides data for real-time analysis.

In no time, sensors connected to analytical platforms will be found in nearly every product, but we were the first to develop a IoT mattress which detects infidelity.

We ensured that the sensors would not be detectable or easily disabled, rejecting solutions such as air pressure sensors, elastic conductors, etc., as they were either unreliable or not fast enough.

Ultrasonic transducers were used because they can be introduced into the mattress, they are not detectable during use, offer a high refresh rate and allow us to know the pressure map of the entire surface with a reduced cost.
