We sent a bill with instructions to expose the invoice to the sun. When held to direct sunlight, the amount shown on the bill would disappear and the figure zero would appear instead, revealing a lighter bill.

By using a special ink that disappears under the sunlight,

The bill could be a real proof that renewable energy is the solution to reduce the electricity bill.

Execution

The mailing operation was done during one Month, before the summer season starting.

We targeted the most illegible location allover the country, including more than 40% of Tunisia's Territory.

Outcome

During one Month of campaign

16000 Particular investments has been done.

11000 businesses switched to Photovoltaic.

And More than 22000 asking for quotations.

Relevancy

To illustrate how sunlight could reduce, if not wipe out, electricity bills, we threw a mailing operation, in order to convince people to switch to renewable energy.

The Sunlight could promote renewable energy.

Strategy

We targeted clients with high bills or late payment history in order to switch them to renewable energy.

Synopsis

In Tunisia, a Mediterranean country, it’s sunny 280 days a year.

In 2010, the government launched the National Solar Plan, hoping to convert people to solar energy and reduce the national electricity bill.

In the light of the economic crisis, with families and businesses overwhelmed with expensive electricity bills, the country needed to urgently address power deficit. But 5 years on, 75% of people surveyed either didn’t know about solar energy or considered it an expensive option.
