BriefExplanation

Heineken launched this film as a part of its global Open Your World campaign. In The Switch, a group of friends end up in a sleazy bar on the outskirts of town in the middle of the night. Things look grim – until they are served the right beer: a Heineken.

The star of the commercial is Heineken’s draught beer served by a bartender who certainly has perfected the art of pulling the perfect serve. A Star Serve. This ritual leads to an amazing stir of events.

Adding to the atmosphere is the musical score Love Letter by Clairy Browne & the Bangin’ Rackettes, an Australian soul-train sensation who had never before appeared in a commercial. The film was shot on a set in Prague which was specially hand built to create an unparalleled experience in real time.
