The piece is a visual poem that shows the most real and unknown side of El Raval, together with the most unknown and sincere side of the Liceu. Showing the entrails of both in a modern and contemporary production style.

The direction of this project was very clear from the beginning. We wanted to identify and relate the “Gran Teatre Liceu” with its location: the heart of El Raval, one of the most authentic, charismatic and transgressive neighbourhoods of the city of Barcelona. To accomplish this, we thought everything had to happen on the Raval.

From that starting point, the casting we used was real people from “El Raval”. We did a street casting to make sure either the people from Barcelona or anywhere could recognize these people. The different locations we used where selected in representation of the Raval. The Sound design is based on the images we showed.
