The film starring famous celebrity star Ruby takes us on a seamless journey of purchases that start with her buying a cup of coffee, which later leads her all the way to a total bathroom renovation. The film aims to best portray the infamous ‘buy buy loop’ that always starts by buying something you need, then buying something that goes well with it and then buying something that complements both things and so on, which always results in you paying way more than what you signed up for. The correlated script inspired our approach to shoot seamless flow film where edit and camera movement are king as they take the viewer on a fun rollercoaster ride that is engaging to the last second of the film, with no sharp cuts but with a series of seamless transitions that were timed by the second and done live. With camera tricks, extreme zooms and hidden cuts we treated the film like a music video syncing every word of the script to our visuals resulting in an unstoppable loop of buying that began from a cup of coffee to renovating a bathroom.
