BriefExplanation
How could we translate so much information into a simple yet interesting communication medium?
Since 2012, we've been designing one info graphic poster each quarter discussing a certain trending subject in Egypt. These posters are printed and sent to clients as DM, showcased in the
agency, and posted on our website: www.kairo.me.
ClientBriefOrObjective
Kairo, the new independent advertising agency in Egypt, wanted to show both existing and
potential clients, its strong understanding of local trends and insights and its ability to translate
these insights and discoveries into powerful visual communication.
Implementation
In our first info graphic poster in 2014 we decided to depict the hierarchal similarities of the two most talked about organisations in Egypt. The military institution and Muslim Brotherhood
organisation.
For the past three years Egypt has been going through a political roller coaster. Despite the emergence of new political parties with different ideologies as a result of the 2011 revolution, when it comes down to it, Egyptians are torn between two powers: An authoritarian military or a fascist religious regime. This info graphic poster can be viewed either top-down or bottom-up,
depending on which 'pyramid' one is interested in.
Outcome
It will be sent out on February 15th 2014. This poster is expected to go viral.
