We needed that people knew this Samsung`s new product and therefore create a promotion with a collection of four great classics, that you got with the purchase of any product of the Galaxy range of the brand. We communicate this promotion through the official website of Samsung and in their stores, as any other promotion. In addition, we created a website only to talk about BackBook and the collection of classics.
On the other hand, an internal server hosting the content of the books, where we count the downloads.
Outcome
The most importantly if that we were able to give added value to the brand’s mobile devices.
Furthermore, we increased Galaxy Note 4 sales by 42%, and over 10,000 books were downloaded.
Strategy
Samsung mobile devices have a way of reading that few people know. The brand wanted to promote this use to enter the market of e-readers. To do this, first we had to encourage the use of the e-books, by returning the magic that digitization had removed. Since, we discovered that the people miss things of the traditional reading. This was our starting point.
The solution was to create a new product that combines the best of the traditional book and the best e-book, offering the user a new experience of reading, with which to enjoy the best of both formats directly from your mobile device.
Thus, we encourage the sale of mobile devices and created a link with the user, since the brand, despite being innovative, does not want that technology forget important things.
