BriefExplanation
In this film we show real women practicing sports. Even after blood has been drawn, they don’t give up. A little blood doesn’t stop them. So why should their period? No blood should hold us back. Live Fearless.
EntrySummary
Blood in sport is perfectly normal. But when it comes to menstrual blood the conversation changes. Actually, the conversation doesn’t even exist. Periods are sport’s ‘last taboo'. There is a lack of information on how women's bodies change on their period; which is stopping women from keeping fit and exercising to their true potential. In the UK alone, a quarter of women regularly miss out on exercise when they have their period.
