BriefExplanation
In this film, we see female models wearing the “genderless clothes” of our fashion desginer, Davidelfín.
This kind of fashion style is very neutral, and it gives to the models a very agender look. They needed to use this style to appear in the film, because the entire film was recorded in countries of the world where women have less rights than men.
Thanks to the use of this genderless style, they were able to ride motorbikes, walk by the streets or use trousers in places of the world where a woman can not do those things. That's why the film ends with the concept campaign “Fashion to be free”.
EntrySummary
Davidelfin is one of Spain’s most influential fashion designers. His unisex style and transgressive vision of fashion as a tool for freedom catapulted him to fame in 2010. Six years later, the designer asked us for a project to make the leap to international markets by positioning himself as a responsible fashion player through his philosophy and brand vision. This brand (and world) vision of Davidelfín went perfectly with the global conversation about gender inequality, a problem that is becoming increasingly serious, and one which all markets have taken part in, or all except one: the world of fashion.
