This script is inspired by classic scenes of psychological thrillers. We chose to stay true to the genre by adopting its visual conventions, rather than making a parody. But even though the style of the film and camera work reference classic markers of this genre, we wanted the style of the campaign to stay timeless. We used techniques from classics such as Shining, but avoided to simply copy the genre, and chose to cast a doubt regarding the time/era at which the scenes unfold. The style, framing and rhythm are unique, and are designed to build tension and feed the plot. Music and sound design also contribute to this build up in suspense and support the film editing.
