Our film, based on a true story of a WW2 veteran, shows that memories of combat are often so painful even the veterans’ closest relatives don’t know about them. The film aired on Veterans Day to help create awareness about the importance of collecting these memories for future generations.

The objective was to let the true story the film is based on play out as strongly as possible without being disturbed by any unnecessary effects. Even the music was meant to fully support this attempt and live naturally and fluidly within the film without leaving viewers with the feeling that the music is really good. It is just an organic part of the whole. We focused on using authentic sounds and composed them in a way so that they help enhance the feeling from every single shot, so that every beat makes sense and mirrors precisely the imagery.
