The artist, Emicida, was launching his new album, called SILENCE. It its a track, that is completely silent. So the idea was to launch a music video, with no music, to enhance the idea and to make the launch of the new album.

The track has this name, as a reference to all the people that are suffering somehow in the Brazilian new politics. Keeping their voice silent, in a way of protest.

Brazil is a very diverse country. We have many cultures mixed all in the same space. Culturally, religiously, economically… It is a hot pot. The idea was to shoot from south to north, some characters that represent a part of it. Everyone under the same umbrella. In silence, it might be the best way to be heard.

A film shot with a very low budget. Most of the light resources were natural, or improvised. Camera movements, were all designed and created to make longer shots to work tight with the concept, creating a suffocating atmosphere.
