Our animated short film entitled “Lily & the Snowman” tells the story of a little girl and a magical snowman. As a child, Lily discovers her snowman can perform cinematic shadow puppet shows. Their relationship grows over the years until Lily’s busy life pulls them apart. One night while working late, adult Lily is reminded of her forgotten snowman friend. She rushes home and retrieves him from the fridge. The story concludes with the snowman putting on an entirely new shadow puppet show for Lily, who is now joined by her daughter.

For Canadians (and many others), the busyness of day-to-day life can consume us, and over time, we lose perspective on the things that are most important. People of all ages need to be reminded that there is more to life.
