Describe the creative idea

We started redefining the meaning of the brand tagline “The strong design”. From there we came up with the strategy of “strong designs for strong relationships”, because after all, what could be more meaningful in life than strong relationships that last? We then created a short film about a couple at a point in their relationship when they start questioning their future together. The script ingeniously fuses love and food, the two elements that everyone can easily relate to.

Describe the strategy

Tecnogas supports only customers in a way of “functional” benefit and never mentioned any emotional value. Moreover, we see a value possibility for connecting a brand to consumers through the brand tagline “The strong design” under the logo that must be the Tecnogas’s belief. Furthermore, we started redefining the meaning of “The strong design” that it meant to strengthen your relationship. So, we got a simple strategy “Strong design for strong relationship”

Describe the execution

The agency and Tecnogas Thailand teamed up with a production company pick up one of the relationship stories to create a moving short film that could make the brand stand out for its superb quality, re-establishing the brand in consumers’ minds.

With Tong Banjong behind the camera, the film was shot in Italy, the origin country of Tecnogas. It tells a story about a couple at a point in their relationship when they start questioning their future together. The script ingeniously fuses love and food, the two elements that everyone can easily relate to.

Describe the outcome

The touching story and quality production lift the brand’s image and change the public’s misperception. At first step, the campaign successfully create buzz on social media. By getting more than 2 million views on both Facebook and Youtube in a few days. At the end, Tecnogas’s appliances was strongly designed to last. Because of its quality similar to support every relationship that meant to be last.
