Now You Know is an epic film that brings to life the confusion, frustration, and disappointment people with Type 2 diabetes feel in trying to manage the mystery of this disease on their own. At every twist and turn in the film a humorous voiceover is quick to shut down all forms of enjoyment our characters seek in life - with one word: NO.

Eventually it all leads to a climactic finale, when just as this kettle of madness is close to boiling over, the viewer is presented with a solution: Life doesn’t need to be all “no”, when you ‘know’ with FreeStyle Libre systems.

From the onset the director was asked to completely reimagine the film’s original vision and present a new, bolder treatment. The result was a series of well-crafted, hyperbolic metaphors, seamlessly weaved together. Ones that leave our protagonists - and viewers themselves - unable to know right from wrong. And for one instance in the film (with the help of an elaborate, Gimble-rig set) literally not know up from down.

Furthermore, from casting to title design to post-production, the director’s continued passion throughout the entirety of the production was instrumental in ensuring the train stayed on the track – to create a piece of content that feels completely different from the category.

We dramatized this truth to reveal the transformative power FreeStyle Libre systems can have, turning ‘no’ into ‘know’.
