This is a film about a summer’s day, that became a dream, that became a machine, that became a one-man play. It follows a single creative idea through this strange and beautiful journey, and shows how collaborative creative thinking helped bring it to life.

The main thing to know is what a bunt is – it’s a baseball shot where the batter just taps the ball in front of themselves and sets off running (rather than swinging to hit something more ambitious).

The key challenge here from a technical perspective was the editing, to thread together so many moving parts into a whole, and to show bits of the creative process that are not necessarily very easy to capture visually.
