De Souza attaches sensors to hundreds of bees and Edison’s immense compute power allows him to track their movements and identify threats to their livelihood. Our goal was to find real-life examples of people using our technology in the maker space and share these stories in a documentary-style fashion. We found one with high stakes.
The bees are dying. By putting micro-sensors on bees and Intel Edison technology in their hives, one of the world’s greatest minds is hoping to save them from extinction. We put the viewer in the middle of a race against time to save the bees and all they do for humankind.
