Dumb Ways to Die: The radio ad that people paid to own.

Dumb Ways to Die launched as a 3 minute radio commercial and posted it to iTunes and Soundcloud. On radio, we originally ran paid spots but by the end of the first week, radio stations around the country, and events internationally were playing the ad for free, as a song.

On iTunes, the song charted in 28 countries reaching a peak of #3. Since its launch, the song has sold 70,000 copies, despite being available for free from Soundcloud and from every decent pirate MP3 site on the net.
