The client brief was to position Scruffs as a brand that performs well and looks good. Plus increase sales and get the target audience to care. Ads about work related products bore tradesmen and they ignore them. We needed to grab their attention and get them to pay attention to what we had to say.Our target was manual tradesmen, builders, plumbers and electricians, anyone with a tough job who needed tough clothes and tough boots.
