BriefExplanation
Going against the usual Christmas noise trend, the advert features a soothing voice questioning if ‘just absolutely nothing’ isn’t ‘nice for a change'.
EntrySummary
As the countdown to the festive season starts millions of Britain’s already have one worried eye on the exhausting side of Christmas.
On top of this, they have to contend with more and more Christmas ads, starting earlier and earlier, featuring traditional jingly bells, families around the turkey, re-recorded Christmas songs and all the usual Christmas schmaltz.
Sometimes it’s hard not to think that maybe the best Christmas gift Santa can bring, could just be a little break.
Going against the usual Christmas noise trend, KitKat gives people that little break.
ScriptInEnglish
Ahhh… This is nice. Bit of silence… without the silent night.
No wishing it could be Christmas every day, every hour.
No driving home for it either.
Just a nice slice of Christmas hush.
No carol singer selling sofas, festive menu ad or jingly belled jingle you can’t get out of your head.
Just nothing.
Not even a Ho Ho Ho as you sit in a tailback.
Nice for a change isn’t it?
Have a break. Have a Kit Kat.
