The video was viewed by more than 500 scientists who submitted 100+ ideas at the conference. The proposals focused on four key areas: justice and fairness, economic development, security and safety and public service delivery. By visually representing these complex issues, participants felt encouraged and excited to tackle difficult, systemic problems in society and empowered to use data and mathematics to solve them.

To illustrate the four key areas participants were discussing at the conference, the video features real, solvable scientific equations mixed with footage, data visualization and quotes from Bloomberg's technology leadership team. The idea was to present the problem in equation form, illustrate the problem through footage and interpret the problem through data visualization. The video is an interesting, eye catching way to present complex information in a clear, impactful way.
