Describe the creative idea
Wisr is a fin-tech start-up whose mission is to help people make better financial decisions. Our brand idea was to recognise that although people often do dumb things, there’s a part in all of us capable of making good decisions: the ‘smart part’ of our brains.

Describe the execution
Appealing to people’s ‘smart part’ became our core idea running through every touchpoint of the brand.
From a digital design perspective, appealing to people’s ‘smart part’ meant simplifying and demystifying complicated financial stuff. Across the site, the UX and UI was designed to be as simple and intuitive as possible. Users navigated the homepage by following the journey of a physical ‘smart part’ which introduced every product and tool in the WISR portfolio. The motion design here became crucial to both the interaction and narrative of the site.
Beyond the homepage, a reductive design approach using simple graphic illustrations and animations made the more hardworking tools, calculators and forms both aesthetically pleasing and more effective.
