Fox and Samsung partnered up to bring the series reboot of 24 to life in a pretty gripping way — putting you in the center of a combat mission in virtual reality.

Titled “The Raid,” the VR short is a prequel to the “24: Legacy” series premiere episode which debuted after the 2017 Super Bowl. The experience introduced viewers to some of the new cast and storyline of the series, all while donning a Gear VR headset in this six-minute action packed film.

"The Raid" transports viewers to Yemen, letting you follow along in an fast-paced raid led by Lieutenant Eric Carter (Corey Hawkins, “Straight Outta Compton”) and his team of Special Forces Soldiers against the compound of terrorist leader Ibrahim Bin-Khalid. The experience puts you in the center, with gunshots and explosions going off all around you.
