Execution
We visualized the invisible technology as a robot created by Syoji Kawamori, the pioneer of Japanese robot animation. We released a story composed of 5 episodes without any notice.
The story depicts the EyeSight robot taking care of people with warmth.
Furthermore, we presented the new form of banner that stirs up people’s imagination.
That is, we delivered one story intentionally divided in two banners, and when the both appear simultaneously by chance, people can enjoy the full story for the first time.
Outcome
We made a success in terms of inciting people to click the banner by letting them imagine “the rest of the story”, “the meaning of the banner” and “”when and where the next banner would appear”.
By offering the imaginative banner which made people to enjoy spontaneously, we succeeded to raise the click rate 10 times more than the average.
Strategy
The EyeSight, the Active Driving Assist system, developed by a Japanese automobile company, SUBARU.
It is the cutting-edge invisible technology, which protects drivers’ safety, and prevent car accidents from occurring.
We made a web banner based on such characteristics the EyeSight has by delivering the high quality new form of animation banner to the people who have less interest in cars and the ones whom we cannot reach simply with a TV commercial,we tried to acquire new SUBARU fans and the recognition towards the company.
