BriefExplanation
But what can we do to enhance environmental awareness of city folk who are far removed from the realities?
ClientBriefOrObjective
'Today Birds, Tomorrow Man.' If birds become extinct, we will too, someday. After forty years since Suntory started to undertake the protection of birds, considered a 'barometer of the environment,' to preserve the environment that will then enable them to produce fine spring water.
Implementation
We developed a design that embodies the concept 'Birds and people are never separated.' A paper-cutting design made from the innovative machine of Japan, showing many birds flying, with cutouts representing human beings. Technology and the intricate designs characteristic of Japan together created an elaborate, lace-like craft made of a paper poster.
Outcome
Posters inside the trains running through Tokyo surprised many. It was successful in spreading the significance of our bird protection programme. We have elevated the sense of awareness through the power of design.
