In response to having not been invited to perform in this year's Super Bowl Halftime Show, Lil Dicky (rapper, comedian, and star of FXX’s critically-acclaimed show ‘Dave') decided to take matters into his own hands. Teaming up with Gopuff, a company known for providing game-changing instant delivery to customers nationwide, Lil Dicky got the jump on halftime with the first-ever “LIVE” 'Gopuff Quartertime Show’ that premiered during the first quarter of the Big Game. The opening scene gives the audience special backstage access to Lil Dicky’s quick-witted creative process, with rapid-fire comedic interactions and dialogue. We then cut to the show, which starts off very epic and controlled but quickly derails into a flamboyant comedy of errors. It may not have been flawless, but it is still the “fastest show” that anyone’s ever put on!

The Gopuff Quartertime Show, a live event that streamed during the first and second quarters of the game (i.e before the Halftime Show) was the perfect way to demonstrate Gopuff delivers everything faster. Gopuff is a young, brave company that enlisted the talents of an equally bold director to push the boundaries of what a Super Bowl commercial could be, including where it can be watched. Undoubtedly the biggest day for advertisers in the U.S., Gopuff used an untraditional approach to getting their brand seen by millions. Rather than buy a traditional 30-second spot and hope it breaks through, Gopuff set their sights on creating an entertainment platform that can be ongoing, achieve awareness, and get people actively experiencing Gopuff.
