BriefExplanation

The Led Zeppelin interactive music video film invites fans to dive beyond the façade of their legendary Physical Graffiti album that depicts two apartment buildings on St. Mark’s Place in NYC, 1975. People can select one of 16 windows to zoom into each room. Every room is a separate film with its own story arc that is perfectly in sync with the 5:30 minute long Brandy & Coke song and intricately choreographed with each other. People can even follow characters as they move between rooms and influence other storylines.

Viewers can also zoom back out of the album to see what’s happening on the street – a total of 17 films playing simultaneously. In fact, there is so much to see it’s unlikely anyone will ever see the same music video twice.

The films explore a variety of filmic techniques including stop motion gif-like animations, live-action dance sequences, 3D animation, archival footage and combinations of all. The live-action component alone required the equivalent of 7 music videos to be directed in a single day. Every room is painstakingly styled from the original album sleeve artwork and filled with heavily researched Led Zeppelin symbolism, memorabilia and an authentic 1975 aesthetic.
