We made teasers of non-existent art house films for the promo—bizarre, illogical, and imaginative pieces that make viewers think about their lives, future aspirations, and social issues. We decided to shoot films instead of ads, stylizing our promo as a series of mini trailers for non-existent art house pieces, which are a bit bizarre, imaginative, and ambiguous. The plots were based on global trending topics: LGBT rights, freedom of choice, happiness, drugs, epidemics, and artificial intelligence. If you think about these things, don’t miss out on MOLODIST!

Molodist is a very Kyiv festival. It’s in the DNA of every creative person in our city. That is why everybody who participated in project was a true fan of the festival. It was super easy to gather a good team for the project, because everybody wanted to take part in making Molodist better.

Nobody could imagine, that it was the last Molodist before the war.

Budget. An auteur film festival isn’t a commercial event. Organizers are always on a budget. At the same time, a simple video shoot costs $80,000 on average in Ukraine. Our creative solution enabled us to assemble the best team at a minimum cost. The production budget was only $2,500.
