Write a short summary of what happens in the film.
Directing this film wasn’t as easy as it seems. As much as “The Hiring Chain” song is guiding the whole narration, the images have the daunting task of complimenting the music. The track reminds us of a nursery rhyme song. The director worked on a typical “see/say” structure where the scenes go along with the track in a descriptive, almost literal way, making the storytelling pleasurable, while easy to follow (as done in most of the videos that accompany these songs). To bring the audience closer to the reality of the film’s message, the director used the hand-held camera technique in all of the scenes, with the exception of the handshakes. By framing the handshakes in a symmetric way, the director allows the viewer to not only understand the importance of that moment, but also to follow it easily within the repetition of the song.
