With nearly two thousand years of heritage, adding a new chapter to the Kama Sutra was a carefully considered and culturally sensitive task.

Partnering with Mumbai based artist Shreya Gulati, we took inspiration from the original Sanskrit texts and stone carvings to base the form and flow of our five new anal sex positions. However, unlike the original text which focussed on conventional relationships, each illustration within ‘The Forgotten Chapter’ was created to celebrate inclusivity, some of which were intentionally androgynous. This illustrative approach allowed us to demonstrate our belief that uncensored anal sex is for all.

“The Fearless Cowgirl”, “The Rose Leaf”, “Climb the Stare”, “Ride the Tiger” and “The Big Spoon” all paid tribute to the historic manuscript whilst a more vibrant colour palette and stripped back approach to each illustration gave the ancient text a much-needed update for the twenty-first century.
