In a small, mountainside town, a young boy prepares an old bicycle and sneaks out on an early morning journey. He struggles up to the top of the hill, then races down as fast as he can. Just when he's going as fast as his little legs can pedal, he's joined by a world-class cycling team out on a training ride. And there, for a few glorious seconds, he's side-by-side with his heroes, as part of the team. His impossible dream has come true.

Since this film was a part of global campaign, so we created it to resonate with people around the world. By design, every story in the campaign wasn't limited by cultural boundaries, but rather illustrated a universal story about the ever resilient human spirit.

On the surface, this is a simple story. The director's challenge was to bring it to life in a powerful way, without intruding on the innocence and simplicity. They proposed treating the story as three acts: the secret, the journey and the surprising reward. And each would have a distinct vibe, ranging from intrigue to optimism. We brought on an amazing cinematographer. Miraculously secured the perfect location. And after casting in three countries, found the perfect hero talent. Then when it came to actually making the film, it was a master class in directing. A child actor with little experience, two stunt doubles, a makeshift professional cycling team riding in perfect formation, extras from the village, a crew that spoke mostly Italian, dogs, goats, 14th century cobblestone streets - all came together in one brilliant performance.
