In this tongue-in-cheek parody of the Metaverse, Chief Visionary Officer Zack Mossbergsson introduces the “Icelandverse,” a physically immersive, open-world experience that’s literally just the country of Iceland. With Zuckerberg-ian charisma, Mossbergsson highlights many of its groundbreaking features, like water that’s wet, skies you can see with your eyeballs, and real humans to connect with. The film ends with an invitation to experience the Icelandverse and its not-so-new technology anytime they want, because it already exists—and has for millions of years.

The film was written, produced, and released within 12 days for a budget of $40k USD. $30k for live action production, $5k for post-production, and $5k for talent—including his $5 haircut.
