As a story continuation of Xbox’s “What Did I Miss,” Aaron, the game store clerk, shows off the Xbox Series X and Xbox Game Pass to Sam Wilson (AKA Falcon). Each game title is juxtaposed with scenes from the Disney+ series – for example, the clerk asks Sam if he’s ever been in a car chase as we see footage of Forza Horizon 4. Sam wryly replies, “I fly, dude” as we flash to footage of Falcon soaring through the air. After showing Sam more gameplay, Aaron passes him the Xbox controller and asks him if he wants to take down some bad guys. “I can do that,” Sam replies with a smile. In our button, we reveal a surprise from the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Aaron’s gamer tag is revealed as "NoobMaster69,” the same name as a Fortnite player that Thor and Korg battled in the blockbuster film Avengers: Endgame.

The Xbox Series X is the newest Xbox video game console, launched in November 2020, seven years in the making. Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that gives gamers access to 100+ high-quality games. Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is a Disney+ original series set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and it’s viewership has been reported to have outpaced The Mandalorian and WandaVision. Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie, first appeared in 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier. After taking on the heroic role of “Falcon,” Sam has appeared in multiple MCU films before being handed the shield of Captain America by Steve Rogers in the finale of Avengers: Endgame.
